Not quite staring. Just eyeing Jack. Some what patiently, even- as Jack said to Will, not a few minutes ago, there is a pointed lack of alarm being raised. With anyone else (again, case in point, Jack), this may be cause for alarm.
Wellard, however, is just waiting for answers.
(Besides- Will has a barrel to cling to. He will not drown. And considering Will would have sold them out- Wellard is not too particularly worried about him.)
